getting over my fear of starting to write on Substack more frequently by coming to your inbox with a few small stories, a half baked goal for 2024, and some ramblings about writing
I flagged this post in my inbox so I wouldn’t forget to come back to it when I had a few extra minutes during nap time. I smiled the whole way through and even chuckled out loud at one point.
I love love love that you’re wanting to step out in some bravery this year. This is definitely one of my favorite, most looked forward to “newsletters” and I just wanted to take the time to say that. You have lots of great things to say and I love reading about how the Lord is working in your life, especially through parenting. Thanks for being vulnerable and sharing, Sara!
I love this! I love your honesty, friend. And I love your bravery in taking the next step to write your own assignments and show up scared! I spent most of last year terrified every time I posted something, but I am so, so grateful I did. I could not have learned to write better without showing up. Look forward to seeing more regular posts from you!
Also, your son's questions are like my five year old, who will yell across the house while I am in the shower, "MUMMMM, did God make the Devil?" Keeps me on my toes 😅😅
I love reading your posts. The fact that you can talk Michael into matching family sweaters is a great testament to your marriage! I’m sharing this one with 3 sisters who are in various stages of child rearing who will appreciate the content and who are all friends of your Aunt Lynne! Sending love and admiration!
“So about the four horsemen in Revelation…”
Oh my gosh I cannot even. That is hilarious.
Also if you figure out how to discipline well let me know. Good grief it’s hard.
Yes to this! Any and all help on discipling is appreciated!
Those vignettes of your boys made me smile so hard!! Your stories and words will receive a warm welcome in my inbox anytime 🥰
Agreed 100%!!
