My oldest is only seven, but I still felt so much of this!! I often look at her compared to her four and two year old siblings and wonder when she got so big and capable. Beautiful writing, friend.

Sara, amazing as always. Your words are poignant and wise. How lovely to see your boy grow and mature! I am a few years behind you with two boys , and loving reading and learning from all you write.

Thank you for your encouragement, Wendy! It means a lot 💚 it’s so sweet to be a boy mom and watch them blossom before our eyes, isn’t it? 🫶🏻

Oh Sara, you made my heart sing with this story. I can relate to being in a similar situation when my twins were born early and I was far away from them in the hospital. Both of them have now made me a grandmother and I thank God for all of them every day. You deserve an amazing Mother’s Day! Blessings to you and your family.

“I will let him dump out bins of legos and build scenes and story lines for as many Saturday afternoons as possible before we store the bins away to collect dust.” 😭💙😭

Love this, friend. I think nearly every single mother can relate to this feeling. And the upside to the legos is that we’ll eventually pull them down again for grandkids. 🤞🏼But maybe let’s not rush things. 😊
